When you export to Turkey, you must from now on mention the name Türkiye instead of, for example, Turkey, Türkei or Turquie.

From now on you must state the modified country name on the Certificate of Origin and on all other export documents. The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce will check on this from August 22, 2022.

Make sure you use the correct name with all your export documents to avoid acceptance problems and unnecessary delays at the border.

We will of course continue to actively monitor developments for you and have already implemented this new name in our automated solution 'Export Documents in Control'. With new document requests for Türkiye, the new name is now always automatically stated, to keep you compliant.

Country name on own/other documents

When exporting to Türkiye, also ensure that you replace Turkey, Türkei or Turquie with Türkiye on documents that Pincvision does not arrange for you (such as invoices). In this way you prevent that acceptance problems can still arise.
