Poland Considers SAFT Adjustments and Mandatory Electronic Invoicing

Poland wants to adjust the monthly SAFT (JPK-VAT) together with the introduction of mandatory electronic invoicing.

Poland is proposing to revise its tax reporting by modifying the monthly Standard Audit File for Tax (JPK-VAT) in line with the introduction of mandatory eInvoicing. Key proposals include incorporating the Ksef number from electronic invoices into the SAFT for accurate reconciliation, and shortening the time frame for tax refunds. These changes, still in the proposal stage, aim to streamline tax processes and improve compliance. Businesses should prepare for potential adjustments in their reporting systems and processes.
